Burke Manor Inn @ 303 Burke Street, Gibsonville or (336) 449-6266. This early 1900’s bed and breakfast offers a four Diamond AAA rated French restaurant, a dining area (available for private luncheons), an attractive outdoor pavilion (with the capacity for 350 persons), as well as 3.5 acres of manicured outdoor grounds. Built by the influential Cone family, it was then home for the prominent Burke family for generations. This is a place of distinction which will be equally special for your event.
B. Schmidt Park @ 2150 Elon Park Drive, Elon or (336) 449-9255. This Elon public facility has indoor and outdoor event space. Their Heritage Place Community Center has a full kitchen and can accommodate for 135 persons. There are numerous options for outdoor rental areas as well.
The Diamond Room @ 103 East Main Street, Gibsonville or (336) 449-4949. This indoor event spaces offers access to a banquet commercial kitchen and a capacity for 280 persons. It has a large open format which can set up for either corporate or more personal special events, like weddings. This event space is on the building’s second floor (with elevator access) and has a views of the town green.
The Depot Stage @ Gibsonville’s (Down)Town Green @ (336) 449-7241. The Depot Stage is open to anyone wishing to showcase their talents to the public. Musical acts, dance groups, small theatre events, and others are all welcome to perform in our downtown. The Depot Stage hosts events from June to September and is available by reservation only. All reservation requests must be made and approved by Gibsonville’s Park & Recreation department before the event date. This venue is available at no cost. Kimber’s Restaurant @ 230 West Main Street, Gibsonville or (336) 449-6411. This table cloth restaurant offers a large private banquet room for 30+ persons. Owned by the Jeff & Edith Younger (who will greet you at the door), this Gibsonville landmark serves steaks, pastas, salads, and sandwiches.
The Lily Pad @ 1537 NC 61 South, Whitsett or (336) 580-3387. “The Lily Pad is set on over 25 beautifully landscaped acres consisting of a ranch style 9,000 sq. ft. home, an 8,000 sq. ft. event center, 3,000 sq. ft. stable, and a 50′ x 80′ open air barn with twinkle lights.”
Northeast Park @ 3421 Northeast Park Drive, Gibsonville or (336) 375-7722. “The Meeting and Event Center serves as the ideal setting for weddings, business functions, and family gatherings of all sizes. The Banquet Room measures 2,400 square feet and offers the luxury of exclusive use of the building and surrounding property for your gathering. Rental of the facility includes the beautiful garden gazebo, wrap-around porch, parking area, and restrooms. The high ceilings feature natural wood beams and the large picture windows offer picturesque views of the park. The kitchen includes a warming oven, freezer, refrigerator, sinks, and spacious counter space.”
